Ryan has been playing pick-up basketball his whole life. The workout is INTENSE - two hours running back and forth, and you feel it. 

A few years ago he grabbed a standard sports drink to keep going, and couldn’t get past the first sip. The taste was too artificial and cloyingly sweet.

He looked for alternatives in the grocery store, and couldn’t find anything that contained real, healthy ingredients, or that didn’t taste like a little kid’s fruit punch.

Having founded a healthcare college, Ryan has over 20 years under his belt teaching patients and students about health and nutrition - so he knew he could do better. He started making his own natural electrolyte drinks at home, and bringing them to games. LUMO was born.
